The Storytelling Arts 2012 Storytelling Institutes for Teachers are intensive, in-depth professional development programs covering storytelling performance techniques as well as ways to use storytelling to advance literacy and promote social and personal development. Methods taught can be used across the curriculum.

Storytelling Arts will offer 23 professional development credits for this program. Content will be tailored to participant needs and interests as determined in a pre-institute survey.

Storytelling Arts programs have been taught in over 55 long-term program sites in New Jersey over the last 15 years. We provide classroom programs working directly with students and teachers and on- and off-site professional development workshops and teacher mentoring services.
