The Art of Storytelling
In this "how to" workshop, teachers will learn some basics about how to tell a folktale effectively using visual memory, movement, character development, eye contact, and improvisation.
We recommend a minimum of three hours, though a full day is preferable.
This workshop supports core curriculum content standards in language literacy (3.1; 3.2; 3.4; 3.5) and visual and performing arts (1.1; 1.2; 1.3; 1.4).
